The purpose of this blog is not "beautiful photos" nor "ancestor photos," it is to share my "personal life"...in photos. Because "My Heritage is happening"... Hope you enjoy!

Alaskan Cruise Leaves San Francisco

May 10, 2013

Our Cruise Ship

Royal Caribbean's Grand Princess

Aboard the ship in San Francisco.

The Old Bay Bridge, furthest away, and the new Bay Bridge, closest to us, being built.

The Bay Bridge goes through Yerba Buena Island between San Francisco and Oakland.

The other side of the bridge is the Port of Oakland. My father retired from the Port of Oakland before the cranes were added.

Looking out at the Bay Bridge we see a sailboat, another boat and cargo ships in the background.

  2. Cheryl,

What fun! Lovely photos. And yes, as Gini said that new Bay Bridge is really gorgeous. We were there in the Bay Area a while back and crossed the current Bay Bridge into San Francisco.

By the way, thank you for including my photo blog on your blog list. I noticed that you have my old photo blog listed though. If you'd like to list my newly named photo blog, here's the link http://janasphotojournal.blogspot.com/

    Thanks!

Jana, I remember when you were in San Francisco and I remember you had a great time! I went in and updated the link to your photo blog, thanks for the heads up! I need to check the other blog still also.

Thanks to both of you for posting!
