The purpose of this blog is not "beautiful photos" nor "ancestor photos," it is to share my "personal life" photos. Because "My Heritage is happening"... Hope you enjoy!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the number of moments that take our breathe away anonymous

Final Posts From Ketchikan, Alaska

A few left over photos...
The map of Ketchikan, not very big is it?

Of course we had to visit the Harley Davidson Store! The bottom of the sign blurred...

...luckily I took a separate photo of that sign.

The moose below reminded me of the time my husband almost hit a moose and then baby moose while we were riding our Harley's in Idaho. This one is cuter.

Last but not least ~

Not a bad throw with that axe!

Running the log.

Rolling the log.

Who do you think will go down?

Those Lumberjacks and Me!

Arriving in Ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan was overcast and a bit rainy while we were here. This is coming into the town.

I love the colorful houses, it sure brightens the place up!

A couple of boats docked at the harbor...

Sharing that we are indeed in Ketchikan!

Ketchikan, Alaska ~ Quilt Shop

We ran across this wonderful little Quilt Shop!

I suspect people in Alaska find lots of time to quilt.

These two quilts have eagles and bears, my favorite picture, a quilt of whales came out blurred.

This one below is for flower lovers...

and finally, a few more mammals.

Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show

Ketchikan ~ Lumberjack Show

Lumberjack made a rabbit with whiskers.

Then turned it over and sat in it!

Here you can see the actual chair, which he gave to a child in the audience.

Chopping a block of wood.

How fast can they get through it?

Now there are two eagles, one is flying away.

Seeing our first seaplane.

Can't beat the majesty of an eagle...
